What this hub works on
Research focuses on the analysis of static and dynamic deformation of mechanical engineering elements, reliability prediction, and lifetime estimation of mechanical structures. Parametric models of stochastic degradation/corrosion are developed, finite element analysis of damaged structures is performed, and Monte-Carlo simulations are used. The group also studies the dynamic behavior of structures (modal, harmonic, spectral and transient analysis) and analyzes random vibrations of complex mechanical systems under random loads and parameters.
